TERMS & CONDITIONS
This website is operated by Pressed & Preserved Petals (PPP). By accessing the PPP website and/or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms, conditions, purchasing agreement and policies referenced or linked herein. These Terms govern the use of this site by all users, including, without limitation, browsers, vendors, purchasers, merchants, and those who contribute content.
It is the customer's sole responsibility to deliver flowers to Pressed & Preserved Petals in the best possible condition. The quality of your preserved flowers directly depends on their condition upon arrival.
Delivery Timeline: Ship flowers as soon as possible after your event within 24-36 hours. Overnight shipment is highly recommended.
Storage: Keep flowers in fresh, cold water until shipping. If it's extremely hot, store the flowers in the fridge.
Avoid Water Spray: Do not spray flowers with water; this can cause discoloration during pressing.
Transit Risk: We are not responsible for flowers lost, damaged, or stolen during transit.
Liability Limit: You are solely responsible for shipping your bouquet to Pressed & Preserved Petals, including all costs and risks. If your bouquet is damaged or lost during shipping, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service. We are not responsible for the bouquet's value or any other incidental losses. You waive any claims against Pressed & Preserved Petals for issues with your bouquet before it reaches our shop. Proof of loss is required for any refund requests related to lost packages. **At this time, PPP is not accepting any shipped bouquets.
Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse preservation of damaged or wilted flowers if our designers determine successful preservation is unlikely. We won't return such flowers, but for an additional cost, we may source replacement flowers.
No Dried Flowers: We do not accept dried floral arrangements.
Refunds: Because each item is a unique, custom-made product, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for any purchase. Please note that all sales are final, including those for gift cards.
Please be aware:
Pressed & Preserved Petals specializes in pressing flowers to create custom framed art keepsakes. The specific services, display options, and pricing will be outlined in your individual order confirmation or invoice.
Pressed & Preserved Petals assumes no responsibility for the quality of preservation if the flowers arrive wilted, bruised, discolored or damaged.
Your bouquet will be processed in its received condition.
Bouquets with bugs or mold are unworkable, cannot be returned, and will be discarded.
Wires, adhesives, or pins used by your florist might make some blooms unworkable.
If your bouquet is deemed unworkable by Pressed & Preserved Petals, your order will be canceled and a refund will be issued.
If you wish to include personal memorabilia—such as photographs, invitations, or ribbons—in your keepsake, these items must be submitted to Pressed & Preserved Petals by the mutually agreed-upon deadline. Pressed & Preserved Petals shall not be held responsible for the return of any items that are not included in the final piece.
Once your flowers have started the preservation process, they cannot be returned to you individually. They will only be sent back to you as part of your completed, framed design.
Not all flowers in the bouquet may be used in the final design due to factors such as thickness, condition of the blooms, or limited space within the frame.
Your bouquet or arrangement will be carefully disassembled. Only the finest blooms and foliage will be selected that is best suited for your chosen preservation piece. Any remaining flowers, stems, or excess materials will be responsibly discarded.
Flower preservation is an art form that involves artistic interpretation in the design and arrangement of your keepsake. By purchasing a Pressed & Preserved piece, the artist is granted complete creative discretion over the final design of the bouquet frame.
Pressed & Preserved Petals reserves the right to cancel an order at any time, at its sole discretion, if the client relationship is deemed unsuitable for a satisfactory outcome. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
In the event of a catastrophic occurrence, such as a hurricane or flood, Pressed & Preserved Petals cannot guarantee the preservation of flowers. While we will notify clients and take reasonable measures to protect their orders, we are not liable for any loss resulting from these circumstances.
Expect natural color, shade, and appearance variations to occur during and after preservation, as this is inherent to removing moisture from organic material. Common changes include:
White flowers: May shift to cream, yellow, or light brown.
Red flowers: May deepen to a darker red, purple, or burgundy.
Blue flowers: May darken in tone.
Pink flowers: May change to dark pink or purple.
Rust-colored flowers: May shift to purple or mauve.
Blush flowers: May transition to cream, grayish green, or purple.
Purple flowers: May change to blue or grayish purple.
Artificial dyes are not used unless specifically requested and agreed upon, which may incur an additional cost. Naturally preserved flowers may dull or lose pigment over time. To best maintain their color, keep the finished product in a temperature-controlled, dimly lit area, away from bright lights and direct sunlight.
Framed Floral Preservation and Care Terms
By purchasing and/or displaying a framed floral piece, you acknowledge and agree to the following care requirements:
Immediate Unpacking
The frame should be removed from its packaging immediately upon arrival. Prolonged storage in its original packaging may restrict airflow and can accelerate the aging and deterioration of the pressed blooms.Routine Maintenance
The frame should be cleaned regularly using a soft microfiber cloth to remove dust and maintain its appearance. Abrasive materials, cleaning products, or excessive moisture should not be used.Light Exposure
The frame must be kept out of direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading or discoloration of the flowers over time. Placement in areas with indirect light or shade is recommended.Environmental Conditions
The frame and pressed flowers should be protected from extreme temperatures, temperature fluctuations, and high-humidity environments. Suitable display locations include climate-controlled indoor spaces.Restricted Locations
The frame should not be displayed or stored in areas prone to excessive heat, moisture, or humidity, including but not limited to bathrooms, sunrooms, laundry rooms, or near fireplaces, heaters, or other heat sources.Humidity and Mold Risk
Exposure to humid conditions may result in mold growth, damage to the pressed flowers, and deterioration of the frame. The owner assumes responsibility for maintaining appropriate environmental conditions to preserve the artwork.
Failure to follow these care guidelines may adversely affect the longevity, appearance, and condition of the framed floral preservation piece.
